Servicios de monitorización de webs

As more and more websites use free community developed open source content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, the risk of hacking is growing by the day.

In the majority of cases the causes of hacking are due to the fact that website owners generally don’t keep their CMS systems up-to-date.  Hackers work out the vulnerabilities of these out-of-date systems and use them to insert hidden links and in the worst cases, take control of the websites in their entirety.

Hacked websites can often be complicated to repair if the hacking attempt has been severe and there is no backup to recover the website to.

For the more subtle hacking attempts, where links are inserted in a hidden format in the HTML, mainly to help another website rank well in Google, these are often easier to fix.

The main thing to be aware of is to always have the most up-to-date version of the CMS that your website is running on.

As part of the online marketing services that I offer, one of them is a website monitoring service which is where I keep an eye on your website to ensure your CMS is always up-to-date and make regular checks for hacking attempts.

The price for this service is just €79 per month.

If you’d like to find out more about this service, or if your website has been hacked, then get in touch and find out how I can help you keep your website and business safe online and how I can help you recover it should it have been hacked.
